“ After my husband’s doctor appointment we decided to check out Carr’s restaurant for breakfast. The interior is very tastefully decorated with a car and train theme. There were also pictures from the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s along with license plates on the walls. We were greeted and seated immediately. Both servers were friendly and attentive and gave all of the patrons equal attention. Our food was hot and served quickly. I had the chicken fried steak with country potatoes and a homemade biscuit. It was huge and smothered in sausage gravy. The potatoes were hot and crisp and my biscuit was huge and relatively light. The gravy had a little bit too much black pepper for my taste. I don’t tend to suffer from indigestion but the pepper is definitely getting even a few hours later. Ray had the Denver omelette with country potatoes and a biscuit. He had contemplated the waffle with strawberries and was shocked at the huge amount of strawberries on the waffle being delivered. I know he will have that next time. His omelette was huge, well stuffed with ingredients, and he was barely able to eat half. His country potatoes were slightly overfried so he wasn’t too thrilled with them. He was quite happy with his biscuit. The service was excellent. Not once did we have to ask for coffee or water. Despite those small hiccups, we will definitely be back for another meal. I was watching meals being served to other tables. I made mental notes for future visits. ”

“ My sister brought us breakfast a few years back to our hotel and it was sooo good. I was amazed at the portions so when I went up to Seattle we’ve decided to go check out the actual place because I wanted to look at their menu and try other food on their menu. Our waitress was great and the food was not at all disappointing. Portions were definitely a lot and especially for big girls like me or Heavy hitters (eaters ) which I and my hubby consider ourselves to be enjoyed it. I was aimin for breakfast until I seen another server with a platter of fish n chip which wasn’t 1 or 2 but 4 I was like I WANT THAT ONE!!! lol it’s a big pricey but who said great food wasn’t. I even ordered the captain’s platter while the hubby ordered the Steak & eggs If you’re ever in the area try it out for yourself I don’t think you’ll regret it!!! ”

“ Very surprised by how good the food was here. The exterior is under construction currently and it’s not the best vibe, but if you care about nothing but the food quality, this is the place to go. I ordered a single pancake with whipped cream, strawberries and chocolate chips. This is absolutely the biggest pancake I have ever seen anywhere - it’s about an inch thick and 11 in diameter but still very fluffy and tasty! My partner ordered the Philly cheese steak omelette which is another feat to finish but still absolutely delicious. Service was a bit odd since we got our food after other customers who had ordered similar things after us, but this might just be a one off issue. ”

“ The place is amazing, the taste is super good and the serving is very good as well. Just taking stars from atmosphere as a white old male was sitting in the wait line and hurling racial slurs quite quite offensive but management wasnt giving much notice to him, although when i went in there to eat he was gone. Other wise, the vibe, service, attitude of staff is very good. Ordered the reuben sandwich and it was so so good ”

“ This was such a lovely little place for breakfast. We had come here after a concert and was pleasantly surprised at the amount of food given at the current price. The staff was super nice, attentive, and never overbearing! The breakfast sandwich was absolutely amazing and the hot chocolate was perfect. It was a great place and I'll definitely be back! ”

“ Huge portions - hash browns especially but also a pretty generous omelette. Pancakes and other dishes looked good. Will go again when in the area. Prompt service and food came up fast ”

“ I've enjoyed every meal I've ever ordered here. Even take-out/delivery eggs arrived edible and delicious. The portion sizes are huge like a truck stop, so while the prices aren't cheap, you get a value and at least 1 or 2 meals. The Cobb salad is wonderful with fresh and generous ingredients and never any red edges on the prepared lettuce. Have ordered family sized Thanksgiving dinner "catered", which was so easy and really tasty. Have done the Thanksgiving dinner twice and it's a great deal with so much food. ”

“ Excellent breakfast! And huge! The hash browns were perfectly crispy and the waffle was amazing. It doesn’t look like much from the outside so it’s easy to miss, but it’s definitely worth a trip! ”
